2022 | Oil on Linen | 44” x 46”

Tuning into

A thousand tiny signals

Melting into my senses

Lets live ourselves

Eternal faith in fertile acres

For what’s been called

A waste of time

I think it’s time well spent

Because I know

That this outdated static line

It never died

And have you heard

That it’s coming

Back to life

To build a bridge

Into a quiet pastel evening

We’ll turn back in

To those endless laughing kids

Who knew to live

All that we could live

Despite despair

And sometimes afraid of

What was really there

We held the knowledge

Of our hearts up in the air

It formed a light,

That made a signal

To remind us it’s alright

We’ll be alright
